Arshdeep took another wicket in the same over. He got Andries Gaus (2) caught by Hardik Pandya on the last ball of the over.

At the same time, the record of taking two wickets in the first over of the match in the T20 World Cup 2024 has been made for the third time. Earlier, Trumpelman did this against Oman and Fazalhaq Farooqui did this against Uganda.
