Ford Endeavor can enter the Indian market with new features
Ford Motor is potentially going to make a comeback in the Indian market. If the company enters here then Endeavor will again be seen running on Indian roads. Let us tell you that Ford sells its premium SUV in the global market under the name of Everest.
Ford Motor is reportedly planning to return to India after a gap of two years. The models it can launch also include Endeavour. This SUV was recently seen with Ford Ranger, after which the possibility of Ford's return to India has increased.
What new in Ford Everest
The new-generation Endeavour, sold as the Everest in global markets like Australia, south-east Asia, was scheduled to make its debut in 2022 after Ford's exit from India. In its new avatar, the Endeavor has grown in size to 146 mm.
Despite this, the ladder frame architecture used in Endeavor remains the same. The length and height of the SUV also increased marginally, while the wheelbase increased from 2,850 mm to 2,900 mm, promising more space inside the cabin.
Ford Everest design
Many changes have been made in the new Endeavour. The shape of the SUV is now sharper and squarer with a larger grille at the front and matrix LED headlights and LED DRL units. The headlight units are connected by a horizontal bar. The size of the alloy wheel is kept between 17 inches to 21 inches depending on the variant.
Features of Ford Everest
This SUV comes with many great features, which include 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, powered tailgate, auto-folding third row seats. Apart from this, the interior of the SUV comes with all-black theme.
Ford Everest engine
The Everest SUV seen in India could be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel or 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel engine. The turbo engine can produce power of 168 bhp, while the bi-turbo can generate power of 208 bhp. The torque output is 405 Nm. The turbo diesel engine uses a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the Bi-Turbo gets a 10-speed automatic transmission.
