KRAFTON India has announced BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2026, one of the biggest Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) esports tournaments of the year. The tournament will feature the best BGMI teams from India competing for a ₹1 crore prize pool and the prestigious BMSD championship title.
As part of KRAFTON India’s second-half esports roadmap, BMSD 2026 will bring together 48 top-performing BGMI teams. Unlike the BGMI India Series (BGIS), this tournament will not have open registrations as it will follow an invite-only format.
The competition will start on September 22, 2026, and will conclude with the BMSD 2026 LAN Grand Finals from October 16 to October 18.

The BGMI Showdown 2026 schedule will be divided into multiple stages, including Promotion & Relegation rounds, Survival stages, Semi Finals, and the final LAN event.

BGMI Showdown 2026 Format: How Teams Will Qualify
A total of 48 invited BGMI teams will participate in BMSD 2026. The participating squads will be selected based on their performances throughout the 2026 esports season.
Teams will receive invitations through their rankings and performances in:
- KRAFTON India Esports (KIE) Leaderboard 2026
- BGIS 2026
- BMPS 2026
The tournament will begin with the Promotion & Relegation rounds, where teams will compete for better positions. After this stage, successful teams will move into the Survival rounds.
The remaining teams will compete in the Semi Finals and Last Chance rounds before the best-performing squads advance to the offline LAN Grand Finals.
BMSD 2026 LAN Grand Finals: Venue Details
The biggest attraction of the tournament will be the BMSD 2026 LAN Grand Finals, scheduled between October 16 and October 18.
KRAFTON India has confirmed the LAN event but has not yet revealed the official venue. More details regarding the location and audience attendance are expected to be announced soon.
