Bajaj Pulsar N150 and N160 launched in India

Bajaj Auto has launched the 2024 editions of its popular bikes Pulsar N150 and N160 in India. The updated bikes have been introduced in two variants. The starting ex-showroom price of Pulsar N150 is Rs 1.18 lakh and the starting price of Pulsar N160 is Rs 1.30 lakh. The bike is available at all dealerships across the country.

The company has given a fully digital instrument cluster in the top variants of the updated bikes. The instrument cluster can be linked to the Bajaj Ride Connect app via Bluetooth connectivity. This will also allow the rider to receive or reject calls using a button on the left-hand switchgear. This display shows the battery and signal status of the phone. Apart from this, the console can also see speedometer, odometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, real time fuel efficiency and average mileage.

Mileage claim of 45-50 kmpl

The N150 now gets a rear disc brake with single-channel ABS. Apart from this, there has been no change in the design, dimensions and performance of both the bikes. The company claims that Pulsar N150 and N160 give a mileage of around 45-50 kmpl. In the Indian market, the bike will compete with Honda Unicorn, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Extreme 160R 4V, TVS Apache RTR 160 and Suzuki Gixxer.

Pulsar N150 and N160: Engine Specifications

To power the new Pulsar N150, a 149.68 cc single-cylinder engine has been provided, which generates maximum power of 14.3 hp and peak torque of 13.5 Nm. Talking about transmission, the engine is tuned with a 5-speed gearbox.

At the same time, N160 has a 165 cc single-cylinder engine, which generates maximum power of 17 hp and peak torque of 14.3 Nm. Talking about transmission, the engine is tuned with a 5-speed gearbox.

Pulsar N150 and N160: Braking and Suspension Both the bikes are equipped with front telescopic forks and rear monoshock absorber suspension for comfort riding. For braking, Pulsar N150 has 240 mm front disc brakes with single-channel ABS. At the same time, 130 mm disc brakes are available in the rear. At the same time, Pulsar N160 has 300 mm front disc brakes with dual channel ABS. At the same time, 230 mm disc brakes are available in the rear.
