Actor Mohanlal Hospitalized in Kochi for Breathing Issues

According to reports on Sunday, actor Mohanlal has been brought to the hospital because of a fever and respiratory problems.

The seasoned performer has been accepted to Kochi's Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.

According to Mathrubhumi reports, the celebrity was admitted to the hospital after developing a fever, respiratory problems, and widespread muscle soreness.

According to a hospital statement, the actor has been instructed to stay out of the public eye and take his prescribed medication for the last five days.

Regarding work, October 3 is currently scheduled for the release of superstar Mohanlal's directorial debut, 'Barroz'.

The 3D fantasy drama's release date was originally scheduled for 2019, however, it has been postponed several times. The original release date was set for March 28.

The revised release date for 'Barroz' was revealed by Mohanlal, who also appears in the film.

'On October 3, 2024, 'Barroz' is going to spill his secrets. 'Schedule a magical adventure on X this Saturday,' the celebrity wrote.

When Mohanlal visited the Chooralmala and Mundakkai villages in Wayanad earlier this month, he announced Rs 3 crore through the ViswaSanthi Foundation for restoration in the region where severe landslides caused destruction.

'We are announcing Rs 3 crore for the ViswaSanthi Foundation's initial rehabilitation phase. Speaking to reporters in the Mundakkai area, Mohanlal stated, 'We are contributing Rs 3 crore for the rehabilitation project now and will contribute as the need arises.'

In honour of his parents Viswanathan and Santhakumari, Mohanlal founded the non-profit ViswaSanthi Foundation in 2015.

The actor toured the damaged locations while dressed in an Army uniform. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Territorial Army.

Along with interacting with the Army officers working on the relief and rescue efforts on the scene, he also met with the impacted individuals.
