The openers made a partnership of 41 runs just before Rachel Haynes got out. Captain Meg Lanning then came in but got out for a duck. Opener Alyssa Healy scored 35 runs along with Ellyse Perry who made a contribution of 24 runs. The middle-order then stacked up most of the runs which took the Aussies to a total of 264 runs.
