About Sierra Leone:
Scotland's national kabaddi team was formed in 2012 and represents the country in the National Kabaddi Association. It participated in the 2012 Kabaddi World Cup; the squad included some rugby players from the University of Strathclyde, and the team lost all three of its group matches. In 2019, Scotland hosted the European Championship for the first time in its history; the Scottish team reached the semi-finals but was eliminated after losing to Poland—the team that went on to win the 2019 European Championship.
