The ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A 2024 will begin on August 30 and run till September 9 in Malaysia.
Organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A 2024 will see seven teams participating in a total of 21 matches over 11 days.
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A 2024 is part of the qualification process for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, which will be hosted by Sri Lanka and India.
Hosts Malaysia, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, and Singapore are the teams that will participate in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A 2024.
As per the schedule, each team will play the other six teams once in a round-robin format.
The top two teams from the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A will advance to the Regional Finals, where they will be joined by Nepal and Oman, who have directly qualified after participating in the previous edition of the T20 World Cup, and two other teams from the Sub-Regional Qualifier B. All matches of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier A 2024 will be played at Bayumas Oval and YSD-UKM Cricket Oval in Malaysia.
