Indian cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal is neither part of the India vs England T20 series nor included in the ODI squad. However, he had previously received an opportunity to play during the home series against Afghanistan—due to Virat Kohli's injury—and even scored a century in the final match of that series. Currently, Yashasvi is enjoying FIFA World Cup matches; he was in New York to watch the match between France and Sweden. He arrived at the stadium wearing an Argentina jersey featuring Lionel Messi's name and number and also shared a video from the venue.
Yashasvi Jaiswal visited the stadium to watch the Sweden vs. France match during the knockout stage (Round of 32), but instead of wearing the jersey of either competing team, he wore an Argentina jersey. This clearly indicates that he is a huge fan of Lionel Messi, and he might even visit the stadium to watch Argentina's next match.

Sharing the video, Yashasvi mentioned that this was part of his 'bucket list'—a list of things one wants to do at least once in a lifetime—which he has now fulfilled. He noted this in the caption. A 'bucket list' comprises activities a person wants to try at least once; Yashasvi wanted to watch a FIFA World Cup match live from the stadium.
In the match Yashasvi Jaiswal went to watch, France defeated Sweden 3–0 to secure their place in the Round of 16. Argentina's Round of 32 match is scheduled for Saturday, July 4; the match will be played in Miami Gardens.
