Giving this information on Twitter, BCCI wrote, Update - Ruturaj Gaikwad had an injury on his ring finger during the second ODI International match, from which he has not been able to fully recover. The BCCI medical team is keeping an eye on him.

Let us tell you that India made two changes in the playing-11 for the third and last ODI match (IND vs SA). Rajat Patidar got a chance to make his ODI debut in place of Ruturaj. At the same time, Kuldeep Yadav has been rested for the third ODI and Washington Sundar got a chance in his place in the playing-11.

Ruturaj Gaikwad performance in South Africa series
