Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has now broken his silence on the matter; citing a lesson learned from his father, he has highlighted society's responsibility towards students.

This issue has shaken the entire nation, and prominent celebrities are now voicing their opinions on it. 'Master Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar who often faces scrutiny for remaining silent on such matters has also shared his views for the first time.
On Thursday, July 23, Sachin posted a statement on his social media account, beginning with a lesson he had learned from his late father, Ramesh Tendulkar. Sachin wrote, “My father was a professor. He was a mentor and guide to many young students.
He taught me a lesson early on: ‘Failure is okay, but cheating is not. Never take shortcuts.’ As adults in society, the responsibility of shaping the culture lies with us. A society that prioritizes results over effort will embrace shortcuts instead of meritocracy.”

Expressing empathy for the students' disappointment, Sachin reminded society of its responsibility towards them. He wrote, “It is understandable when students feel today that their hard work is not being rewarded. Collectively, we must work together to ensure they do not feel this way again.

Meanwhile, Team India's ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill has also weighed in on this issue, advocating for the students' voices to be heard. Gill posted a statement on Instagram, writing, As a young Indian, I believe our generation has the right to every opportunity to learn, dream, and shape the future they aspire to.
