Vijay Hazare Trophy: Mayank Agarwal and Deepak Hooda scored centuries

Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 has started. On the first day, Mayank Agarwal from Karnataka and Deepak Hooda from Rajasthan scored centuries. Mayank scored 157 runs with the help of 11 fours and eight sixes in 133 balls against Jammu and Kashmir at Sardar Patel Stadium B Ground in Ahmedabad. At the same time, against Arunachal Pradesh in Sector 16 Stadium, Chandigarh, he scored 114 runs in 103 balls with the help of 15 fours and two sixes.

Karnataka, who came to bat first, scored 402 runs at the loss of two wickets on an excellent pitch for batting. Mayank and his fellow opener Ravikumar Samarth added 267 runs in 38.5 overs for the first wicket. Rasikh Salam broke this partnership by taking the wicket of Samarth.

Ravi Samarth scored 123 runs

Ravi scored 123 runs in 120 balls, but by then Karnataka was already in a strong position. Mayank was out in the 44th over. Sahil Lotra stumped him. After this, Devdutt Padikkal scored unbeaten 71 runs in 35 balls to take Karnataka past 400 runs.

Deepak Hooda took Rajasthan to a big score

Whereas, in the second match, Deepak Hooda scored 114 runs with the help of 15 fours and two sixes in 103 balls against Arunachal Pradesh at Sector 16 Stadium, Chandigarh. On the basis of his innings, Rajasthan scored 347 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. Rajasthan team, who came to bat first, had a score of 36 runs at the loss of three wickets in 5.1 overs, after which Hooda came to bat, but he took his team to a big score.
