He finally made his debut against England in the second T20 match at the age of 15 years and 99 days. However, he managed to score only 42 runs across his first three matches. Amidst this, a video of Vaibhav Suryavanshi has surfaced showing him looking dejected; it is being claimed that he was crying after being dropped from the playing XI.
In the viral video, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is seen sitting on a chair, looking visibly distressed. Reports suggest he was disheartened after being left out of the team and had tears in his eyes. Although he appeared to be wiping sweat from his forehead, claims suggest he was actually wiping away tears. It is said that Gautam Gambhir and Shreyas Iyer took the tough decision to drop him; however, it is also true that Vaibhav had failed to perform well in all three matches.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi played his first international match at the age of 15 years and 99 days, becoming the youngest Indian to make an international debut. He broke the record held by Sachin Tendulkar, who had played his first match at the age of 16 years and 205 days. Unfortunately, Vaibhav could not weave his magic in England, managing scores of only 14, 13, and 15 across three innings. He was dismissed twice by Jofra Archer, who effectively used short-pitched deliveries against him.

After the conclusion of the series against England, the Indian T20 team will tour Zimbabwe. Three T20 matches will be played between Zimbabwe and India from July 23 to July 26. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also been included in the Indian squad for this tour.
