The whole team is happy with Suryakumar Yadav becoming the captain
The three-match T20I series between the Indian team and Sri Lanka is scheduled to begin on July 27. Suryakumar Yadav has been made the captain of the Indian T20 team for this series. Surya has been given the command of the T20 team in place of Hardik Pandya.
Many questions were raised about Hardik not being given the captaincy, but all the players of Team India are happy with Surya being given the captaincy responsibility, this has been revealed by star all-rounder Akshar Patel. Akshar supported Surya for being made the new captain of the Indian team and called him the captain of the bowlers.
Axar Patel created a dressing room atmosphere
Akshar Patel told ESPNcricinfo that I have spent a lot of time with Suryakumar. Surya bhai is a happy-go-lucky person. He keeps the atmosphere lively, likes to do mimicry and such funny things. I know he will keep the atmosphere calm.

Axar Patel said: I recently played a five-match T20 series when he was the captain. I know he is a bowler's captain. He gives the bowlers the field they ask for. It was the same with me. I don't think there will be much change. Now we will know about his mindset while playing under his captaincy. You cannot judge someone's captaincy from one tour. When we play more, we will know more about his captaincy style.
