Sakshi Dhoni post during CSK vs SRH breaks the internet

Sakshi, the wife of former Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni, was there at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday to see CSK. Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2024. After suffering back-to-back defeats to the Lucknow Super Giants, Chennai recovered magnificently to defeat the Sunrisers by a commanding 78 runs, with the visitors being held to only 134 runs in 18.5 overs.

Sakshi begged Chennai Super Kings to finish the game fast since she was about to become an aunt in an Instagram story she shared during the game. Following the game, the message quickly became popular on social media.

Sakshi's post said, 'Please finish the game fast today @chennaiipl baby is on the way...contractions have begun. Request from - to be 'Bua'!'

Sakshi's plea seemed to have been granted by the CSK squad, as they secured an impressive victory at home thanks to a masterful bowling performance headed by pacer Tushar Deshpande.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, the captain, struck an aggressive 98 off 54 earlier in the game to help CSK reach 212 for three, but he was denied a second consecutive century. He was well assisted by Daryl Mitchell, who bounced back with a vital 32-ball 52, before Shivam Dube's 20-ball 39 not out moved CSK over the 200-mark. Not to be overlooked, the fan favourite Dhoni scored five runs off of two balls, including a boundary off the opening ball.

SRH's overly conservative batting strategy backfired once more as they were all out for 134 in 18.5 overs after Deshpande's three-wicket burst with the new ball and the middle overs pressure in response to the par score. CSK ended their two-game losing run with the victory. Along with the five-time titke champions, the Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Lucknow Super Giants all now have 10 points, putting them in third place in the standings. Following their fourth defeat, SRH, who have 10 points as well, dropped to fourth place.
