Tendulkar said, 'There is no doubt that it is getting boring. The current format uses two new balls per innings. When you are using two new balls, you are eliminating reverse swing in a way.

He further said, 'Even though we are in the 40th over of the match, the ball is already 20 overs old. The ball starts reverse swinging after 30 overs. With the new balls, this thing is going away. I believe the current format is dominated by bowlers. Now the match has become quite predictable. It is losing its rhythm from 15th to 40th over. This is getting boring.

Can Use This Formula

Sachin Tendulkar is of the view that there is no harm in keeping the 50-over format alive. Teams should change batting and bowling after every 25 overs. This will give the opposing team a chance to equalize. Toss, dew and other conditions have to be removed from it.
