Before the start of the five-match home Test series against England on Thursday, January 25, team captain Rohit Sharma was spotted in the nets.

The first Test match between India and England will occur at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The next three matches are scheduled in Ranchi, Rajkot, and Visakhapatnam. The fifth and final Test of the series will take place at Dharamsala from March 7 to 11. The BCCI has announced the squad for the series' first two Tests.

A few images from Rohit's practice session were posted by his Mumbai Indians (MI) IPL team on Sunday, January 21. Funny enough, all-rounder Hardik Pandya took over as MI captain lately, replacing the 36-year-old.

While top Indian players like Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja conducted a net session in Hyderabad, Rohit chose to have a solo net session at the BKC Ground in Mumbai, according to a report in Cricbuzz. The source further stated that on Monday, Rohit is anticipated to join the Indian squad in Hyderabad, where another net session is anticipated to take place.
