Previously, the record for the fastest fifty in women’s T20 cricket—achieved in just 15 balls—was jointly held by Marie Kelly (Warwickshire, 2022), Fatima Sana (Pakistan, 2026), and Laura Harris (Otago, 2025; Surrey, 2026). Prema Rawat has now shattered this record by reaching her fifty in just 14 balls.
Excellence in Bowling
After creating a stir with the bat, Prema Rawat also delivered an outstanding performance with the ball. Chasing a target of 188, the Hyderabad team could only manage 98/8 in their allotted overs. Rawat bowled exceptionally well, dismissing openers G. Kavyashree and N. Kranthi Reddy, and finished with figures of 2/12 from her 4 overs.
