Preity Zinta Breaks Silence On Her Viral Statement About Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma is now a popular subject in IPL 2024. Since Hardik Pandya took over as captain of the Mumbai Indians, there has been conjecture about his future with the organization. While there have been suggestions that he may depart the five-time IPL winners before the IPL 2025 auction, there has been no official confirmation. In the middle of this, a purported comment by Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta became viral. According to the statements, Zinta declared she would 'risk her life' to get Rohit Sharma on her squad.

Preity Zinta has now spoken out about the comment, claiming it is false.

I hold Rohit Sharma in very high regard & am a big fan of his, but I have NEVER DISCUSSED him in any interview nor made this STATEMENT ! I also have a lot of respect for Shikhar Dhawan & he being currently injured , makes these articles appear in very poor taste. These articles are a perfect example of how misinformation is picked up without any verification & circulated online. I humbly request all Media to refrain from circulating this & embarrassing all concerned parties ?
