• A player can be traded in two ways. Firstly, the franchise of that player itself is ready to be sold or secondly, any franchise has shown interest in buying the player.
• To trade a player, only money should be discussed between the franchises.
• If the IPL Governing Council does not have permission, the trade cannot take place.
• If more than one franchise shows interest in buying a player, then the entire matter falls on the selling franchise.
• Before trading a player or sending him to another team, his consent must be obtained.
