Speaking after the match, Naveen-ul-Haq said, "I enjoy the crowd's chants. I like it when everyone in the ground chants his name or the name of any other player. It gives me the strength to perform better for my team."
He added, "I don't pay attention to outside noise; I just focus on my cricket. It doesn't matter to me which player's name the crowd is chanting. As a professional player, you have to deal with this. One day you might not perform at your best for your team, and the fans might come down hard on you. Another day, you might perform exceptionally well, and those same fans will fill the stadium with cheers echoing your name."
