Kemar Roach Claims 300th Test Wicket: Veteran West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach has achieved a historic milestone in Test cricket. Roach set a new record by claiming his 300th Test wicket during the first Test match against Sri Lanka. With this feat, he has become only the fifth West Indies bowler to take 300 or more wickets in Test cricket. Roach reached this milestone by clean-bowling Asitha Fernando during Sri Lanka's second innings.

In the match played at the North Sound ground in Antigua, West Indies defeated Sri Lanka by a massive margin of an innings and 217 runs. West Indies batsmen put up a spectacular performance; Amir Jangoo (233 runs) and captain Roston Chase (194 runs) shared a record 401-run partnership for the sixth wicket, enabling West Indies to declare their first innings at 626 runs.
The Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 308 runs in the first innings and was forced to follow on. In the second innings, the entire Sri Lankan team was bundled out for just 101 runs, unable to withstand the lethal bowling attack led by Kemar Roach (4 wickets), Jayden Seales, and Shamar Joseph.
