Jhulan Goswami appointed as the mentor of Trinbago Knight Riders for WCPL 2024
After Australia and India, now West Indies has also started a women's T20 cricket league. The next season of the Women's Caribbean Premier League will start from the 21st of next month. This league will run till 29th August. India's great female fast bowler Jhulan Goswami will be seen in this league. She will be seen in this league as a mentor of a team.
Many women players of India will also play in this league. There are only three teams in this league right now, out of which two teams are teams of IPL franchises. Three teams named Barbados Royals Women, Guyana Amazon Warriors Women and Trinbago Knight Riders Women are participating in it.

Jhulan Goswami will become the mentor of Trinbago Knight Riders in Women's Caribbean Premier League 2024. Jhulan has also been the mentor of Bengal women's team in Indian domestic cricket. She is the mentor and bowling coach of Mumbai Indians in the Women's Premier League. Along with her, Jemima Rodrigues, Shikha Pandey are also in this team. Goswami said about this, "It is an honor to be a part of such a great franchise. Knight Riders have done well in India and it is an honor to join this team in the Women's Caribbean Premier League."
Jhulan retired from international cricket in the year 2022. She is the highest wicket-taker for India in international cricket. After this she came into coaching. Everyone has liked her work with the Mumbai Indians women's team. Now she will try to repeat the work done by Gautam Gambhir in Knight Riders. As a mentor, Gambhir made Kolkata Knight Riders the champion of IPL-2024. The same will be expected from mentor Jhulan.
The Knight Riders are captained by former West Indies captain Deandra Dottin. Australia's Meg Lanning and Jess Jonason are also in this team. Both these Australian players play for Delhi Capitals in the WPL along with Rodrigues and Shikha. The Knight Riders are scheduled to play their first match against Barbados on 23 August.
