Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2024: The Indian hockey team will face China in the first match of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. Team India will also play against Pakistan in this tournament.
The top six hockey teams, including the Indian hockey team, are set to kick off the Men's Asian Champions Trophy 2024 in China from Sunday, September 8. India will enter the tournament as a strong contender for the title after winning the bronze medal at the Olympics 2024 played in Paris. The Harmanpreet Singh-led Indian team will begin their campaign against hosts China on Sunday. All teams will play against each other in a single round-robin format and the top four teams will qualify for the semi-final matches. The 8th season of the tournament will feature India, Pakistan, China, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia. All 19 matches, including the final, will be played in Hulunbuir and the final will be held on September 17.
