India A tour of Nepal 2026: The Indian team is set to tour Nepal this December. On Friday, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced that the 'India A' team would visit Nepal for a three-match T20 series. CAN also released the schedule for the upcoming series, which will take place from December 9 to December 13.
The decision to hold this bilateral series was made following a meeting between CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka, and BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia. The three T20 matches between the two teams will be hosted at the TU International Cricket Ground at Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur.

This is a significant opportunity for Nepal, as the 'India A' squad includes major IPL stars and players who have previously been part of India's senior national team. The Nepal cricket team has displayed excellent form over the past few years.

Although the team did not secure a win in the 2024 World Cup, they improved their performance by handing a crushing defeat to Scotland in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. During the World Cup, Nepal came very close to defeating England but ultimately suffered a narrow loss by four runs.
