While Finch contributed 22 runs in 13 balls. Apart from this, Steve Smith played an innings of 35 runs in 24 balls.

At the same time, Matthew Wade played an unbeaten innings of 42 runs in 21 balls for Australia in the middle order, giving the team a 4-wicket victory. Apart from Wade, Tim David scored 18 and Josh English scored 17 runs in the match.
