Former Tamil Nadu cricketer and BCCI match referee DJ Gokulakrishnan passes away, DJ Gokulakrishnan died on October 11

Let us tell you that DJ Gokulakrishnan played domestic cricket for India from 1993 to 2004, in which he scored 1116 runs and took 103 wickets in 39 first-class cricket matches. Apart from this, DJ Gokulakrishnan scored 552 runs and took 71 wickets in 45 List A matches.

So after retirement from cricket, DJ Gokulakrishnan played the role of official match referee of BCCI in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Apart from this, he also worked as a match referee in Tamil Nadu Premier League. Also a Level 2 coaching qualified, DJ Gokulakrishnan worked as an assistant coach in the Tamil Nadu team from 2008 to 2013. Also, in 2015, he had also worked as the head coach of Tamil Nadu Under-15 team.

Apart from this, DJ Gokulakrishnan has also worked with five-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings. Let us tell you that he was the chief talent scout of the franchise. He also worked as the head coach at Super Kings Academy. On the other hand, the franchise also made a post on the demise of DJ Gokulakrishnan.

On the other hand, former Indian cricket team cricketer and women's cricket team coach W V Raman, under whose captaincy DJ Gokulakrishnan also played cricket for Tamil Nadu, said that Gokulakrishnan was perhaps unlucky in not getting the top honour.
