The England team, led by Harry Brook, has maintained its dominance in the series so far.
England announced their playing XI for the 3rd T20 against India
Notably, the English team has made no changes to its playing XI for the third match. They will field the same 11 players who secured a 4-wicket victory in the second T20.
England's Playing 11 for the 3rd T20I:
Phil Salt, Jos Buttler, Harry Brook (Captain), Jacob Bethell, Tom Banton, Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Liam Dawson, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Josh Tongue.
Team India in search of its first win:
The first match of the series ended without a result due to rain. In the second T20, Team India, led by Shreyas Iyer, suffered a 4-wicket defeat. Now, the Indian team will aim to secure its first win of the series in the third match.
A victory here would mark Shreyas Iyer's first win as captain in this series. Previously, under Iyer's leadership, the 'Men in Blue' suffered a 0-2 defeat in a two-match T20 series against Ireland. That was Iyer's first series as India's T20 captain; this is his second series, being played against England.
England takes the lead in the series:
England has taken a 1-0 lead in the series by winning the second match. To win the series, Team India must win the third T20 at all costs. If they fail to do so, the 'Men in Blue' will only have the chance to save the series (avoid losing it). It will be interesting to see which team comes out on top in the third T20.
