Delhi Capitals replaces Lungi Ngidi with Jake Fraser-McGurk

In the recent update from Delhi Capitals (DC), all-rounder Jake Fraser-McGurk has been named as the replacement for the injured Ngidi. Lungi Ngidi has taken 25 wickets in 14 IPL matches and obviously the team will miss him. However, the franchise is hopeful that Fraser-McGurk's inclusion will bring new energy to the team.

South Australia's Fraser McGurk is known for his aggressive batting style and has caught everyone's attention with his batting. He came into limelight when he broke AB de Villiers' record of the fastest century by scoring a century in just 29 balls.

Harry Brook of Delhi Capitals is also out

Ngidi's exit due to injury after Harry Brook withdrew from the tournament is a big blow for Delhi Capitals. The English batsman had recently told that due to family reasons he will not play IPL and will spend time with his family. Brook reveals that his grandmother died after a long illness, and he wants to be close to his family members.

After the exit of these two foreign players from the tournament, Enrique Norkhia and Jhay Richardson now seem to have a place in the playing XI. Both the frontline bowlers can create problems for the opposition team by opening DC's bowling. However, Norkhia also returned to competitive cricket last week for the first time since September 2023.
