Champions Trophy 2025: IND vs PAK match can be played in Lahore

The PCB has been asked to begin preparations, but if India refuses to go to Pakistan, the Champions Trophy could be held on a hybrid model, with some matches being played in the UAE. However, as far as the schedule is concerned, it has been proposed that Lahore will host seven matches, including the India vs Pakistan match.

Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy in February-March next year. According to the report, its draft schedule has been prepared, in which Lahore will get a chance to host the India-Pakistan match. According to a report by Cricbuzz, the ICC has decided to organize this tournament under the hosting of Pakistan from 19 February to 9 March 2025.

The match between India and Pakistan will be the last of the league matches. Eight teams will participate in this tournament. Meanwhile, it is not yet confirmed whether the Indian team will tour Pakistan or not. Because the board has clearly said that the government will take a decision on this.

Talking about the schedule, it has been proposed that Lahore will host seven matches including the India vs Pakistan clash.

The tournament will be held from February 19 to March 9

Five matches will be played in Rawalpindi while three matches will be played in Karachi, including the opening match on February 19. Lahore will host all of India's matches and the semi-finals as well as the final on March 9.

As far as the hybrid model is concerned, the ICC and PCB are not talking about it at the moment. However, it cannot be ruled out either. Because the Indian government is strict on its stance of not allowing the team to tour Pakistan for the last decade.
