AUS squad announced for ODI series against IND

Australia on Thursday announced a 16-member squad for the three-match ODI series against India. The ODI series between India and Australia will start from March 17, whose first match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Australia has selected a strong squad for the ODI series against India. The 50-over World Cup is to be held in India this year, keeping in mind that this series is considered very important. Star all-rounders Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh are returning to the Australian team. Maxwell was injured in his leg, after which he is returning after a long time. At the same time, Marsh had undergone heel surgery. He too is making a comeback after a long time.

The command will be in the hands of Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins will lead the Australian ODI team. David Warner and Ashton Agar will also return to the Kangaroos squad for the ODI series. Warner has returned home due to an elbow fracture and has been ruled out of the remaining two matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. At the same time, Ashton Agar did not get a chance to play in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and has returned home. The left-arm spinner will feature in domestic cricket in Australia.

The Australian team on the tour of India has selected a strong squad for the three-match ODI series. The batting in the team will be on Warner, Cameron Green, Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Inglis, Travis Head and Alex Carey. As an all-rounder, the team has Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis along with captain Pat Cummins. The responsibility of the fast bowling department will be on the shoulders of Mitchell Starc, Jhye Richardson and Shob Abbott. The spin department will be led by Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar.

India-Australia ODI series schedule

The first ODI between India and Australia will be played on March 17 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The second ODI will be played in Visakhapatnam on 19 March. The third and deciding ODI of the series will be played in Chennai on March 22. All the three ODI matches will be Day/Night, whose live action will start from 1:30 PM IST.
