The arrested accused have been identified as Rohit (33), a resident of Royal Estate, Zirakpur, Mohit Bhardwaj (33), a resident of Bapudham Colony, Chandigarh, Mohit Bhardwaj (33), a resident of Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district and Naveen, a resident of Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district. The police is busy interrogating the accused to find out whether his strings are connected with international bookies. According to the police source, the cricket team was staying on the fourth and fifth floor of the hotel. On the fifth floor, there were rooms of Virat Kohli and other players of the team. The staff accompanying the cricket team was stuck on the fourth floor. At the same time, the police arrested the accused from their room booked on the third floor of the hotel.
Had booked room for one day
The accused had reached the hotel at around 1:30 pm. The booking was done for 1 day. With the departure of the cricket team on Friday, the accused also had to leave the hotel room. All the three arrested accused already have criminal records. According to official sources, accused Rohit, a resident of Zirakpur, is also an accused in the famous Sector-26 Fbar firing case.
