Thunder Academy's openers TN Kesteven (26) and G Hempstead (32) gave the team a great start by adding 64 runs for the first wicket. However, after Kesteven's dismissal, Thunder's team came back in the match and lost 10 wickets for 16 runs in 14.1 overs. Vipers had scored 226/6 runs till stumps on the first day.
