Speaking at the jersey launch event, Zinta shared his thoughts on the jersey for the upcoming season and also remembered Punjab's old jersey, which had a mix of red and brown from 2009-2013. However the Bollywood actor revealed that BCCI has banned colors like white gray and silver as they match the color of the ball.

Preeti said, earlier, we had the combination of red, gray and silver, but then BCCI banned silver, gray and white due to problem in seeing the ball. So, we went ahead with red color and this year we have the best combination with red color.

Match against Delhi on 23 March

Punjab Kings will start their campaign in IPL 2024 on March 23. Shikhar will come out with his stalwarts against Delhi at his home ground Mohali. Captain Rishabh Pant will return from Delhi side.
