Star batsman Virat Kohli is ready to return to the field after a long time. Kohli will once again play for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. Kohli is the player who has played the most matches for one franchise in the IPL. In this matter, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma are also behind him. Kohli has played a total of 237 matches for RCB since 2008, while Dhoni has played 220 matches for Chennai and he is second in this list after Kohli. At number three is Rohit who has played 198 matches for Mumbai Indians.

Only two players hold the record of playing more than 200 matches for a franchise. Only Kohli and Dhoni have done this so far, while Rohit will have to play two more matches to achieve this feat. Talking about foreign players, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinner Sunil Narine has played the most number of matches for any one franchise. Narine has played 162 matches for KKR so far and this season also Narine will play for KKR. Narine was associated with the Kolkata franchise under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir and since then he has made the team win many matches. Narine was part of the KKR team that won the IPL title in 2012 and 2014.
