Like every year, Bangladesh Cricket Board is going to start Bangladesh Premier League 2023 this year also in January. The ninth edition of Bangladesh Premier League is going to be held from Friday, January 6. In this ninth edition of Bangladesh Premier League, seven teams will compete in double round-robin format.
A total of 46 matches will be played in the tournament, whose grand finale will be held on 16 February. The seven teams participating in the tournament are Comilla Victorians, Rangpur Riders, Chattogram Challengers, Sylhet Strikers, Dhaka Dominators, Khulna Tigers, and Fortune Barishal. Each team will play a total of 12 matches in the league stage, out of which the top 4 teams will qualify for the playoffs.
The first qualifier match will be played between the top 2 teams in the points table, in which the winning team will enter the final and the losing team will go to qualifier 2.
