Earlier, in the third and final T20I in Rajkot, Suryakumar Yadav hammered an unbroken century to lead India to a massive total of 228/5 against Sri Lanka. Suryakumar needed just 19 deliveries to get the 100th run after achieving his fifty in 26 balls.
He remained unbeaten on 112 off 51 balls, smashing nine sixes and seven fours in the process. Shubman Gill was Indias second-higest scorer with a 36-ball 46, while Rahul Tripathi also scored 35 off 16 balls. For Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madushanka took two wickets, while Kasun Rajitha, Chamika Karunaratne and Wanindu Hasaranga scalped a wicket each. Initially, India captain Hardik Pandya had won the toss and opted to bat against the reigning Asian champions.

Its really important to put pressure on yourself when you are preparing for a game. If you do that in practice, it gets a little easier while playing the game. There is a lot of hard work involved but its about doing quality practice sessions. You should know what your game is and prepare accordingly. Boundaries behind are like 50-60 meters, so I was targeting them. There are some shots that are pre-determined but you need to have other shots too so that if the bowler changes his plan, you can have an answer. He (Dravid) just lets me enjoy myself. Feel happier when the team benefits from my batting (when compared to bowling). Didnt do anything different for this series, just that the captain gave me a lot of confidence in the dugout.
