After the Royal Challengers Bangalore team defeated the Delhi Capitals in the WPL Final on Sunday, March 17, at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, former captain Virat Kohli did a video chat with Smriti Mandhana, captain of the women's squad.
As soon as Richa Ghosh and Ellyse Perry smashed a four on the third ball of the last over to put the RCB squad over the boundary, it was evident on the TV screens that Virat Kohli was having a video conversation with Mandhana and other players while RCB support personnel was carrying a phone across the stadium.
In a picture that went viral on social media, Virat Kohli can be speaking and congratulating to RCB captain Smriti Mandhana for her team's maiden WPL title through a video call. Mandhana had a few words with Kohli before she joined the team for celebration.

Star batsman Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore praised the women's team in his Instagram story, referring to them as "Superwomen" for their first-ever WPL victory.
The Royal Challengers, which is yet to win a title in the men’s tournament, Royal Challengers Bangalore finally broke its jinx and claimed the first championship across the league due to this win.
Chasing 114, RCB rode on valuable contributions from Sophie Devine and Ellyse Perry to cross the finish line in the last over.
