Veteran Indian batsman Virat Kohli returned to India after the birth of his son Akay in London. On 21 February, Kohli announced the birth of his second child. In a social media post, he announced that his wife Anushka Sharma has given birth to a baby boy on February 15.
Virat Kohli is back in India and will be all set to return to action in IPL 2024. The RCB star cricketer was on a short break due to personal reasons and the birth of his son. Now the thing to wonder is whether Kohli will join the RCB camp as they are set to face CSK in the IPL 2024 opener on March 22 in Chennai.

Virat Kohli left India days before the start of the five-match Test series between India and England. He withdrew from the first two matches in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam citing personal reasons. Later, his close friend and legendary South African cricketer AB de Villiers revealed that the Indian batsman is expecting his second child. Ahead of the third Test, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the former India captain has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the England series.
No official information has been revealed by Royal Challengers Bangalore regarding whether Kohli will play in IPL 2024 or not. But according to the report of ESPNcricinfo, Virat Kohli is ready to return to competitive cricket. He will join the team for the pre-tournament camp in Bengaluru ahead of the opening match in Chennai on March 22.
