Virat Kohli Hugs Naveen-ul-Haq

When Kohli and Naveen got into a furious argument during Royal Challengers Bangalore's match against Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League this year, the two players' rivalry officially began.

After the fight on the pitch, Naveen used social media to insult Kohli, especially when the batsman was having a bad day.

Fans eagerly anticipated Kohli's matchup with Naveen in Delhi in anticipation of another fiery match between the famous Indian batter and the erratic Afghan bowler as this rivalry continued to heat up.

However, what they witnessed instead was very different as Kohli and Neveen traded compliments at the Arun Jaitley Stadium during India's run chase of 273.

After the 27th over, while Kohli was batting on 19, Naveen approached him and shook his hands before giving him a side hug and a pat on the back. This suggests that Naveen had started the gesture.

During Afghanistan's innings earlier in the game, Naveen was taunted by the Delhi crowd with cries of "Kohli, Kohli" when he walked out to bat.

The cries of Kohli greeted Naveen, and recordings of them quickly became popular on social media.
