West Indies bowler Romario Shepherd has been thrashed a lot in the T20 World Cup 2024. He has become the fifth bowler in the world to bowl the most expensive over in the history of T20 cricket. West Indies bowler Romario Shepherd came to bowl the 16th over for the team. England needed 40 runs from 30 balls. England batsman Philip Salt was on strike, who was playing after scoring 49 runs from 37 balls. Salt hit a four on the first ball of Shepherd and completed his half-century. Salt hit a six on the second ball of the over. Salt again hit a boundary on the next ball. On the fourth ball of the over, Salt hit a six over long off and on the next ball he hit a six by playing a pull shot on square leg. 26 runs had come off 5 balls of the over. On the last ball of the over, Salt hit a full-toss ball over mid-off for a four and scored a total of 30 runs in the entire over.
In the 2012 T20 World Cup, Afghanistan's fast bowler Izatullah Daulatzai conceded 32 runs in an over against England, which is the fourth most expensive spell in T20 World Cup history. The Afghan bowler conceded a total of 56 runs in his three-over spell and took two wickets.

Canada fast bowler Jeremy Gordon conceded 33 runs in an over during the opening match of the T20 World Cup 2024 tournament against the United States at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Sunday. It was the third most expensive over in T20 World Cup history
Azmatullah Umarzai's 36-run over is second on this list. Nicholas Pooran hit him for three sixes and two fours in his fifth over on the fast bowler. Azmatullah also conceded 10 extra runs, so he bowled the joint-most expensive over (36 runs) in T20 World Cup history. He conceded five runs through wides, while Pooran also got a four through leg-bye.
Yuvraj Singh scored 36 runs off six balls of England's fast bowler Stuart Broad in the 19th over and India scored 218 runs for four wickets in 20 overs. Yuvraj (58, 16 balls, 3 fours, 7 sixes) rocked the stadium by scoring the fastest half-century in T20. He hit three fours and six sixes in just 12 balls. This was the most expensive over in the history of T20 World Cup.
