The first T20 International match against Zimbabwe proved to be historic for Pakistan's star fast bowler Harris Rauf. In the match played in Bulawayo, Rauf took two wickets for 17 runs in 3 overs and became the highest wicket-taker from Pakistan in the T20 International format. Harris Rauf took the wickets of Zimbabwe's Ryan Burl (3) and Blessing Muzarabani. Rauf surpassed Shadab Khan in terms of taking the most T20 International wickets from Pakistan. 31-year-old Rauf took 109 wickets in 76 T20 International matches at an average of 20.45. At the same time, Shadab Khan took 107 wickets in 104 T20 International matches at an average of 23.57.
Talking about the T20 International format, the record of taking the most wickets is registered in the name of New Zealand's experienced fast bowler Tim Southee. Southee took 164 wickets in 126 matches at an average of 22.38. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan is in second place with 152 wickets. Harris Rauf is still out of the top-10 list. He is at number 14 in terms of taking the most wickets in the T20 International format.
