The SA20 2025 season will start from 9th January and its last match will be played on 8th February 2025. After the auction, all six teams have finalised their squads. Let us know the complete squad list of all the teams for the third season of SA20.

SA20 2025 auction

The SA20 2025 auction, scheduled to begin on January 9, 2025, took place in Cape Town on October 1 (Wednesday). Of the 188 cricketers from South Africa and around the world nominated for the auction, only 113 spots were available. MI Cape Town splurged on Proteas opener Reeza Hendricks, who became the most expensive player to be sold at this season's auction. Meanwhile, two-time champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape splurged on England pacer Richard Gleeson.

Reeza Hendricks was bought by Cape Town for 4.30 million rand after a tough bidding war with Pretoria Capitals, while Richard Gleeson was picked up by Sunrisers for 2.3 million rand. West Indies bowler Shamar Joseph did not find any buyer initially but was later picked up by Durban Super Giants.
