Cricket fans may look forward to a new T20 league now that the South Africa T20 league has announced its six new clubs and their owners. Additionally, the locations were disclosed. The six clubs in the South African T29 League are controlled by individuals who also have Indian Premier League franchises. According to the CSA news release, all six winning bidders have a wealth of experience running sports franchises and possess in-depth knowledge of cricket due to their ownership of the Indian Premier League, the top T20 competition in the world. Graeme Smith, a former captain of South Africa, has been chosen the leagues commissioner. The enthusiasm of the teams, he added, shows that South Africa is still regarded in the cricketing community as he welcomed the six teams to the league.
