Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy will compete in the singles events on the fifth day of the Paris Olympics. Two-time Olympic medallist Sindhu, who began her campaign with a straight-game win over Fathimath Abdul Razzaq of Maldives, will next take on Kristin Kuba of Estonia. Meanwhile, in the men's event, Lakshya will face Jonatan Christie of Indonesia while Prannoy will face Duc Phat Le of Vietnam.
On Tuesday, India won its second medal in the ongoing Olympics and once again Bhanu Bhaker was on the podium, but this time she was accompanied by her partner Sarabjot Singh, who managed to win a medal in the mixed 10m air pistol event. The Indian pair won the bronze medal. India will look to add more to its medal tally through shooting, as four shooters will be seen in action in the qualification round on Wednesday. Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar and Swapnil Kusale will participate in the 50m rifle 3 position men's qualification round, while Shreyasi Singh and Rajeshwari Kumari will participate in the women's trap qualification round.
