ODI World Cup 2027 Venues: Twelve venues have been finalized for the 2027 ODI World Cup, which will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. The International Cricket Council (ICC) made the official announcement on Thursday, stating that tournament matches will be played across 12 stadiums in these three countries.
This prestigious 50-over tournament is returning to South African soil after a gap of 24 years. Previously, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya jointly hosted the eighth Men's Cricket World Cup in 2003.

At a special event held in Johannesburg, eight cities in South Africa, three cities in Zimbabwe, and the Namibian capital, Windhoek, were unveiled as co-hosts.
The following legendary players were present on the occasion:
- South Africa: Graeme Smith, Makhaya Ntini, Hashim Amla, Temba Bavuma, and Kagiso Rabada
- Zimbabwe: Hamilton Masakadza
- Namibia: Rudolph Jansen van Vuuren

New Tournament Format: 57 Matches Across 3 Stages

A total of 57 matches will be played in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027. A new three-stage format has been introduced to make the competition more competitive and exciting:
Stage 1: Super Series
Three teams ranked 12th to 14th will play in a round-robin format. The winning team will advance to the next stage.
Stage 2: Group Stage (30 Matches)
The 12 teams will be divided into two groups of six. Round-robin matches will be played within both groups. The top three teams from each group, along with the better-performing fourth-placed team from the two groups, will advance to the Super-7 stage.
Stage 3: Super-7 & Knockout Stage (21 Matches)
21 matches will be played in the Super-7 stage. Following this, the top 4 teams will secure a spot in the semi-finals:
- First Semi-Final: Top (1st) team of the Super-7 vs. 4th-placed team.
- Second Semi-Final: 2nd-placed team vs. 3rd-placed team.
