Northamptonshire (NOR) will play the second warm-up match against India (IND) on 3 July at the County Ground in Northampton. India won their first warm-up match against Derbyshire by 7 wickets in preparation for their upcoming T2OI series against England from 7 July. Deepak Hooda showed his red hot form very well as he played another brilliant inning of 59 runs in 37 balls. Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh also impressed and are likely to be a part of the first T20I against England.

On the other hand, Northamptonshire lost four out of the last five games they played in the blast, with one finished as a washout.
