1. Quinton De Kock and KL Rahul (201* Run)

In the 66th match of IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and elected to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders. Captain KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock themselves batted tremendously and did not give a single wicket to the opposition bowlers. Both of them first crossed the century mark and then 200 runs and made the record for the biggest opening partnership in IPL. Both of them shared an unbeaten 210-run partnership for the first wicket, in which Rahul contributed 68 and de Kock contributed 140 runs. In this way, this pair reached the top in terms of the biggest opening partnership in IPL.

2. Jonny Bairstow and David Warner (185 Run)

This partnership happened during the 11th match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2019 at Hyderabad. Batting first, the pair of Warner and Bairstow shared a record first 185-run partnership for Hyderabad and got the team off to a great start. Bairstow was dismissed after scoring 114 runs, while Warner also played a brilliant inning of 100 not out.

This partnership happened during the third match between Gujarat Lions and Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2017 at Rajkot. Batting first, Gujarat posted a total of 183/4 in their 20 overs, with Raina scoring 47 and Karthik scoring 68. KKR achieved the target of 184 runs with 10 wickets in hand with the help of Lynn and Gambhir's brilliant 184-run partnership. Gambhir scored an unbeaten 76 and Lynn scored an unbeaten 93.

4. KL Rahul & Mayank Agarwal (183 Run)

During the 9th match played between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals in Sharjah in IPL 2020, Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul of Punjab Kings performed tremendous batting. A great partnership of 183 runs was seen between Rahul and Mayank. Rahul contributed 68 runs in this partnership, while Mayank scored a brilliant century in this match.

5. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway (182 Run)

In the 46th match of IPL 2022, the pair of Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad opened the innings for Chennai Super Kings. The pair came out to open the innings for the second time in the season but Sunrisers Hyderabad's strong bowling attack played their shots freely and added 182 runs for the first wicket. Gaikwad contributed 99 runs in this partnership. At the same time, Conway returned unbeaten after scoring 85 runs.
