Sunrisers Hyderabad's Kamindu Mendis has done wonders. He has taken such a catch by flying in the air in the style of Superman, due to which he has staked his claim for the 'Catch of the Tournament' in IPL 2025. Actually, on Friday, a match was played between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, in which CSK's debutant Dewald Brevis (Dewald Brevis Debut CSK) was batting in a stormy manner. He was about to complete his half-century, but due to Mendis's tremendous catch, he was out after scoring 42 runs.

This catch came in the 13th over of CSK's innings, in which Harshal Patel was bowling. Brevis hit a six on the fourth ball of the over and on the next ball too he tried to play a big shot. Brevis hit a shot towards long off with full force, but Kamindu Mendis, who was already stationed there, took a brilliant catch while flying in the air. After taking the catch, Mendis proudly showed his hands and said that he had taken a clean catch.

Dewald Brevis scored 42 runs off 25 balls in this match, during which he also hit one four and 4 sixes. As soon as Kamindu Mendis took an incredible catch in the 13th over, the camera turned towards Kavya Maran. Kavya stood up and appreciated Mendis' effort. Ravi Shastri, who was commentating during the match, called it the best catch of IPL
