IPL Auction 2023: The mini auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is going to be held in Kochi tomorrow (December 23). This time 991 cricketers had registered for the auction. But in the end, 405 players have been shortlisted, on which all 10 franchises will bid. This mini auction will start from 2.30 pm.

Out of 405 players who participated in the auction, 273 players are Indians, while 132 players are foreigners. Indian team's star leg-spinner Amit Mishra turned 40 last month on 24 November. Amit Mishra is the oldest player in IPL Auction 2023 (age 40 years). He has not played any match since 2017 for the Indian team. Amit Mishra recently played Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Even there his bowling magic could not work. Amit Mishra will now join the IPL auction. His base price will be Rs 50 lakh. He has played 22 Tests, 36 ODIs and 10 T20 matches for the Indian team.
